Akinsanmiro set to leave. Fabrizio Romano reporting that Monza have reached an agreement with Inter for the permanent transfer of Ebenezer Akinsanmiro.
The deal, also confirmed by Sky Sport, is worth €7.5 million, plus a 10% sell-on clause in Inter’s favor. The agreement between the two clubs is now in place, with the Nigerian midfielder set to begin a new chapter in Brianza.
Akinsanmiro, born in 2004, joined Inter in January 2023, signing a four-year contract after impressing with the club’s youth academy. Last season he was on loan at Pisa, where his physical presence and box-to-box style stood out, before the Tuscan club suffered relegation.
He now opens a new chapter at Monza, who strengthen their midfield ahead of the coming season. The Brianza club, managed by Ivan Juric, are banking on the young Nigerian to add quality and energy to the middle of the park, in a deal that includes no buy-back option for Inter.
For the Nerazzurri, this represents a significant outgoing sale, with the added possibility of future earnings through the sell-on percentage. Inter continue their market work, trimming the squad and freeing up space for new arrivals, as Serie A’s transfer window heats up with parallel negotiations involving several clubs.
Details on the medical and contract signing are now awaited to formally seal the player’s move to Monza.
